Hi,my name is Bernie, i'm married and have
1 daughter,
I do make drawings since i can remember,
have no join training in it, but thanks heaven i have so much fantasy I always can make art, and even use a lot of mediums
in 1 kind of art.
I mostly draw portraits. It's nice when
the picture is clear when i draw somebody's portrait, and i think the eyes makes the portrait.
I love to create colours,try to create
my own character in my art.
since i have the possibility with my laptop,
i love to design, all the background i made by my own.
I also make cartoons(from guinea pigs)
since 1996 I have guinea pigs and they give me so much inspirations for makin' cartoons with their funny character ,so it
was easy to make one cartoon after another.
lately i've been more busy with design
and portraits, that making of the cartoons become less, but i will make soon more..the updates you will find on my ARTMAJEUR gallery.
next to making art i also love to make photo's, and i love music and lookin'forward to when i can go visit a
concert or gig.
there i love to take pics of bands as well, and make after it a report of it incl pics (see PINKPOP and CONINCXPOP)
Yes and i love travel, takin' pics there as well see HERE, I use once
to make diving trips but i didn't dive anymore for years, so when i will go diving again i have to go back on training.
my favorite country is Scotland, i like ireland as well but i was twice in Scotland so i adore the Highlands, the rough
landscape and celtic myst in it, inspire me also for makin'art, end 80's i even make oilpaintings of the Scottish landscapes.
Yes I like the Celtic culture and even wear the celtic cross (bangle) and in my fantasy art, you will find the Celtic
inspirations back in my objects and figures.
what kind of music I like?? a lot, my taste of music is very huge, I like within temptation, nightwish,queen,Coldplay,Moke and the Rasmus, different
styles of music and i love it. but still there are 2 musicians I admire a very long time,it's MIKE OLDFIELD (saw
him twice) and KATE BUSH, I think the mysterious something in their music i adore,and special the music from Mike Oldfield
inspired me since my youth I was 9 or 10 when tubular bells 1 came out. (i knew it from the excorsist theme, wow that
music at that time even scared me) and i remember ,i didn't know the name of the artist but the music in dolce jubilo i adore
so much ,I really enjoy it, and i found in it even the Celtic spirit and it never leaves me, since Moonlight shadow
and to France I know. the person who made all this amazing music is Mike Oldfield.
it was 1978 or 79 when i heard Wuthering heights and again i fell in love with that mysterious voice, song and
even singer, it was kater bush,still today i really enjoy when i hear the Wuthering heights, I read the book, (English version
and Dutch version) and i even perform once the Wuthering heights,and even other songs of kate I like, even the songs she sings
together with other artist like peter Gabriel, Kate bush is a very mysterious singer and i like that a lot, all that fit perfect
together in my Celtic world, colourfull,mysterious,kind of witchcraft, history..yeh.. it inspire me a lot for makin'art, see
my fantasy art and you will find it all back.
my favorite artist??? Mother nature is my favorite artist, see the sunsets, clouds, rainbows,colours in the sky, mountains,
landscapes,oceans, see here a video i made few years ago, LIGHTING IN THE CLOUDS and
yes there are some artist where i like to see them story, their art, their background, but i think that every artist who is
still alive, workin'hard on create in every piece of art his own style, and i do the same and i hope, that in 300 years, everyone
will know my piece of art, my character and style in it, that's why i make art, to create my own world and that my art
become immortal.They say, the artist always live on in his works.
what kind of tv programms i like, i not watch often tv but when i do, i like the Dutch programm, "de wereld draait door, het uur van
de wolf, SINGLE and i like HOUSE MD. .
(
but i don't like the damn commercials every time in a show, why this stupid things can't wait till AFTER the show!!!!)
Yes i do sport, i do jogging and sometimes swimmin'or cycling.and I love to see cycleracing,but not on tv, i love more
to support my heroes along the road.and...sure i take pics there as well..see HERE

i went to the st.Servatius school but
I didn't like the school there hihi
I always lived in Vlengendaal my grandfather build
the house in 1931 the house is no longer in the family anymore. I am gone for 20
years now and yesterday( 9 nov) i was back for a walk special dr Bergweg a lot of things change but also al lot of didn't,
sometimes it was like i walk trought the movie back to the futrure. here some pics i took yesterday and older ones, i also
paint some landscapes from Bocholtz. This photo i took in 1978 .this is my dog Bobby with much joy
in the snow
